MARIANA QUETZERI AND ALLI ZIEHM OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, have been selected as the SCAC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week for matched played from Monday, February 22 to Sunday, February 28.
Quetzeri, a senior from San Antonio, Texas and Ziehm, a sophomore from Little Elm, Texas, picked up a big win in No. 3 doubles over NCAA Division II St. Mary's Abigail Csengery and Alice Thane (6-4). They went on to shutout Schreiner's Lindsey Reynolds and Rachel Rompel (8-0) on Sunday.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Anamarie Gonzalez and Alejandra Lopez of St. Thomas earned an 8-4 victory over Austin College's team of Gigi Francis and Phoebe Shapard at line one doubles, prepelling the Celts to the 8-1 team victory.
