Eight SCAC Athletes Earn Women's Soccer All-Region Accolades

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Led by three first-team selections, the SCAC had eight student-athletes from three different institutions selected to the United States Coaches All-West Region team on Monday.

It marks the second-straight season the SCAC has had five or more student-athletes land on an All-Region team. It is the first such streak since 2014-2015 the league has placed five or more athletes on an All-Region team in consecutive years.

Trinity led all SCAC teams with four student-athletes named to an All-Region team, followed by Southwestern with three and Dallas with one honoree.

The conference was represented on the first team by a pair of Trinity Tigers in senior Kaity Ward and junior Bailey Meyer and Southwestern senior Sam Davis. The region’s second team included Southwestern sophomore Johnna Campbell and freshman Samantha Hazen, alongside Trinity senior Camryn Beall. Dallas senior May Lien Le and Trinity junior Molly Sheridan each landed on the third team to round out the conference’s eight All-West Region selections.
