CAELI TAYLOR OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a first-year from Tilden, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 29 through Sunday, April 4.
Taylor ran a new PR in the 1500 meters of 4:58.32 on a blustery day at the David Noble Relays at Angelo State University. She was eighth overall, with only Division II athletes besting her time.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
First-year Danya Selber of Trinity ran two new personal bests in the 100 (12.85) and 200 (26.75) at the David Noble Relays.
