Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
First-year pitcher Alexis Roach of Centenary tossed her first-career complete game shutout last Sunday as she led the Ladies to a 7-0 victory over Southwestern in game one of a DH at home. Roach improved to 5-4 on the season as she threw a season-high 136 pitches (82 strikes) in her 14th appearance and 13th start, to record her fifth complete game of the season. She allowed seven hits and walked three with five K’s in her seven innings of work. Graduate student pitcher Bailey Tisdale of St. Thomas went 2-0 in the circle last weekend in the final regular season series of the year against Schreiner. Tisdale scattered 10 hits across 12 innings of work without allowing a single run and striking out five. First-year right-handed pitcher Jordan Arce of Trinity led the Tigers to their second straight SCAC series sweep last weekend, defeating Austin College in a three-game series on the road. Arce earned two of the three victories from the circle, posting a 1.80 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 11.2 innings.
