ASHLYN STROTHER OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore right-hander from Seabrook, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, February 7 through Sunday, February 13. SCAC Softball Release - Week 2
Strother was dominant on the mound striking out seven on the way to her first win of the season in the Bulldogs' 9-1 victory over Whitworth on Saturday.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior right-hander Bri Wodtke of Schreiner worked 20.2 innings in three appearances, which included picking up her first win of the season in a complete game effort in Saturday's 13-10 victory over Pacific Lutheran. Junior Cat Patterson of Trinity worked 13.1 innings on the week, striking out eight and walking six in her four appearances.
