SEGUIN, Texas -- TLU softball's Ashlyn Strother was named a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic Third Team All-American, the organization announced Tuesday morning.
Strother was one of two pitchers to earn Third Team accolades this season. This marks the third straight year Strother has been named an Academic All-American, becoming the fourth Bulldog to earn All-American honors three times joining former teammates Sydney Ouellette and Kelly Jurden as well as Track and Field's Natalie Jones. Strother is one of three three-time Academic All-Americans on the 2024 Division-III teams.
This marks the sixth straight season a Bulldog has been named to a CSC Academic All-America Team. Strother owns a 3.57 GPA as a Business Administration major with an Accounting focus.
The back-to-back-to-back SCAC Pitcher of the Year was named TLU softball's first ever four-time NFCA All-American earlier this month, earning First Team honors earlier this month.
