EZRA ACERO OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a junior from San Antonio, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Field Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 25 through Sunday, March 31. SCAC Track & Field Weekly Release - Week 5

Acero jumped 5.02 meters (16'5.5") at the Bobcat Invitational, breaking his own school record in the process. The mark currently leads all of DIII. 

Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Dylan Sullivan of Southwestern recorded a season's best and school record in the javelin at the Bobcat Invitational, finishing in third place behind two D1 athletes. On his third attempt. Sullivan unleashed a throw of 52.81m (173' 3"), which established a seven-meter PR and broke the decade+ old school record by two meters. His throw places him third in the conference standings. Senior Heath Schake of Trinity established a new personal best in the discus throw at the Bobcat Invitational with a mark of 40.0 meters. He now sits at fourth in the conference standings in that event.
