GRACE EBBERWEIN OF UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a first-year runner from Wichita, Kan., has been selected the SCAC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 8 through Sunday, March 14.
Ebberwein, competing in her very first collegiate meet, ran a 21:23.51 in the 5000 meters at the UT-Tyler Icebreaker Classic on Saturday. The time placed her 22nd in a field that included student-athletes from all NCAA Divisions as well as runners from NAIA and NJCAA.
