Sophomore outfielder Tori Fowler of Austin College had a big week at the plate as the 'Roos went 2-1 against Centenary, collecting two hits in each game on her way to batting .462 with a double, an RBI, five runs scored, and three stolen bases. Fowler also had a .462 on-base percentage and a .538 slugging percentage and boasted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage for the weekend. Senior outfielder Isabelle Dominguez of Centenary hit a sizzling .643 (9-14) in five games for the Ladies last week with an RBI, two doubles, two runs scored, a stolen base and a walk. She did not strike out in 14 at-bats, posted a .667 OBP and slugged .786 with three multi-hit performances. Junior catcher Samantha Saenz of Southwestern led the Pirates to a 3-2 record last week, including a win over TLU and an SCAC series win over Schreiner. Saenz hit .313, going 5-for-16 with three RBI. Sophomore catcher Chloe Bennett of St. Thomas lifted the Celts to a series win over Trinity last weekend, batting .667 over three games, going 6-for-9 at the plate. She posted two multi hit games, belting one triple, one double and drove in two runs to go along with three runs scored, three stolen bases a .727 on-base percentage and 1.000 slugging percentage. Sophomore shortstop Angela Baltzell of Trinity batted .444 (4-for-9) for the Tigers in the series against St. Thomas, driving in the game-winning run in Trinity's 4-3 series-opening win.
