DALON HARRIS OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Garland, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Field Co-Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, March 18 through Sunday, March 24. SCAC Track & Field Weekly Release - Week 4

Harris
shares this week's honor with Matthew Hicks of University of St. Thomas.

Harris won both the shot put and discus events at the TLU D3 Challenge. He threw 14.24 meters (46' 8") in the shot put and 46.46 meters (152' 5") in the discus. The sophomore is now ranked 10th in the nation in the discus and remains ranked second in the shot put. 

Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Matthew Hicks of St. Thomas showcased his hops at the TLU D3 Challenge taking top honors in the high jump. He cleared a height of 1.95 meters, which is his season-best (outdoor), and sits atop the SCAC. First-year Aaron Chang of Trinity threw a new personal best in the shot put with a toss of 13.8 meters to place second at the TLU D3 Challenge. He also took eighth in the hammer throw.
