CAELEE CLARK OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore second baseman from Montgomery, Texas, has been named the SCAC Softball Hitter-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, April 8 through Sunday, April 14. It is the second consecutive week she has won the award. SCAC Softball Release - Week 10

Junior third baseman Jaelyn Simmons of St. Thomas went 7-for-10 (.700) at the plate for the Celts in their three-game road sweep at Schriener. Simmons had seven hits, five runs scored, and five runs driven in. Sophomore outfielder Tori Fowler of Austin College had a big weekend in leading the 'Roos to a three-game sweep of Dallas. She batted .444 (4-9) with a .545 on-base percentage while scoring three runs and stealing eight bases. With her eight steals, she has now broken the 'Roo softball single-season record with 25 on the season. Senior outfielder Mackenzie Cox of Centenary had an impressive weekend for the Ladies at Texa Lutheran, picking up three hits in eight at-bats (.375) with two runs scored, two walks, and a pair of extra-base hits. First-year utility Hannah Boudreaux of Trinity led the Tigers to a three-game SCAC weekend series sweep at home against Southwestern, posting a .444 (4-for-9) batting average with a double, one RBI and a stolen base.
