KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Led by five first-team selections, the SCAC had six student-athletes from two different institutions selected to the United States Coaches All-Region X Team.
It marks the third-straight season the SCAC has had five or more student-athletes land on an All-Region team. It is the first such streak since 2013-2015 the league has placed five or more athletes on an All-Region team in consecutive years.
Trinity placed five student-athletes on the First Team, while Texas Lutheran finished with one honoree on the Second Team.
The conference was represented on the first team by sophomore goalkeeper Lauryn Lewis, senior defender Bailey Meyer, senior midfielder Kyra Stafford, sophomore forward Michaela Bosco and senior forward Molly Sheridan all of Trinity.
TLU’s Alyssa Simien rounded out the conference’s six All-Region X Team selections, earning second team honors.
