Wills claimed his second individual championship of the 2023 season at the Rhodes Spring Classic at the Mirimichi Golf Course in Millington, Tennessee, finishing the 54-hole tournament at a three-under score of 213 and winning the event by two strokes. Wills finished the tournament at a three-under score of 213 - winning the event by two strokes.

His second round 66 on Sunday was the second-lowest round of the event as the sophomore poured in seven birdies in total during the round, including four on the back nine.

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore Jacob Mason of Trinity led the Tigers by notching a third under-par performance—the only player in the tournament to do so—though his Tuesday 71 (-1) fell one shot short of the West Region Invitational championship, marking the first time since October's Crusader Invitational that a Tiger did not top the individual podium. Senior Christian Rodriguez of Southwestern posted rounds of 76, 70 and 70 to shoot even par 216 at the West Region Invitational. Rodriguez was one of just three players to shoot even par or better at the event. Sophomore Rex Souillere of Dallas led the way for the Crusaders, shooting a three-round total of 222 to finish tied for seventh (with his teammate Karsten Paciotti) at the West Region Invitational. His second round 67 was the second-lowest round of the tournament. Junior Andrew Bennett of Centenary was the top finisher for the Gents as he tied for 26th place at the West Region Invitational after shooting a 21-over par 237 which included a final round 7-over 79 on Tuesday.
