ARRION KNIGHT OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a first-year from Denver, Colo., has been selected the SCAC Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for meets held from Monday, April 12 through Sunday, April 18.
Knight ran two personal bests in the hurdle events at the largely Division II meet at Texas A&M-Kingsville. Despite rain and wind, he posted 15.57 in the 110 hurdles for seventh and 57.56 in the 400 hurdles for fifth.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
First-year Jalen Leonce of Trinity ran a new season best at the Texas A&M-Kingsville Invitational in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.63 to place eighth.
