Colorado College Returns to D3hoops.com Men's Top 25

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- The Colorado College men's basketball team reentered the D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll as the No. 25 team in the nation.

The Tigers were in conferece play this past weekend, picking up two wins to improve to 9-2 overall and 3-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Last Friday night, the Tigers used a 21-5 run early in the second half to break open a defensive battle and pull away for a 68-53 victory over Austin College at Reid Arena.

Four Tigers, including starting guards Justin Berardino and Ryan Milne who led the way with 13 points apiece, scored in double digits to pace a balanced offense.

On Sunday, in what was expected to be a showcase for two of the most explosive offensive players in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, junior forward Chris Lesnansky and Colorado College's supporting cast proved to be the difference in a 79-71 home-court victory over Centenary.

Colorado College hits the road for a mini three game road trip, beginning this weekend with its first-ever league games at Schreiner University and Texas Lutheran University on Friday and Saturday. The Tigers and Mountaineers currently sit alone in the SCAC Standings at 3-0, respectively.
