MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- The Trinity University duo of senior forward Yuri Ribeiro and junior midfielder Victor Araujo have been selected for the D3soccer.com Men's All-America Second Team.

Ribeiro and Araujo were earlier named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Men's All-America Second Team.

It marked the second consecutive year Ribeiro earned D3soccer.com honors. Ribeiro made the NSCAA All-America Team for the third time, having attained the feat in 2010 and 2012. He led the Tigers in total points (38), while scoring 10 goals (two game-winners), and chalking up a team-best 18 assists (third in the nation). Ribeiro was also named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year, as well as picking up a slot on the All-West Region Team.

Araujo joined Ribeiro on the All-Region Team, amassing 30 overall points, with 11 goals (five game-winners) and eight assists. He also was an All-SCAC First Team honoree.

Head Coach Paul McGinlay led the Tigers to a 21-3-1 record, and to the NCAA Playoffs for the 12th straight time (and 17 of the last 18 years). Trinity advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals for the eighth time in Coach McGinlay's 23-year head coaching career. The Tigers also won their 16th SCAC Championship. As a testament to his leadership, Coach McGinlay was elected the NSCAA West Region Coach of the Year for the eighth time.

Trinity was ranked No. 1 in the nation in goals-against average (0.39), and second in scoring offense (3.72 goals per game). D3soccer.com issued a final ranking of No. 4 to the Tigers, and the NSCAA ranked Trinity sixth.
