Schreiner lost this weekend’s series against the visiting Trinity Tigers, now putting them behind 3 games for the final post-season spot. Mountaineers will look to fight for that last spot with a trip to Dallas to take on the Crusaders.

Southwestern got timely hitting and solid pitching en route to a three-game sweep at Austin College over the weekend. Will Cates and Clayton Sparks each hit .500 as Cates finished with a home run and two doubles.
