LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Freshman Cedric Ambulo of Austin College has earned SCAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his efforts this past weekend in the Los Angeles area.

CEDRIC AMBULO OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a freshman from Cedar Hill, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week for all matches through Sunday, March 9th.
Ambulo was terrific for the 'Roos this past weekend in Los Angeles, leading the way to a solid outing on the West Coast.
Ambulo went 2-0 at No. 1 doubles along with his partner, Adam Dokos, defeating Occidental College's tandem 8-6 followed by a second 8-6 win over Biola. He also picked up a win at No. 2 singles over Biola in three sets, 3-6, 6-2, 6-3.
Ambulo is the first men's tennis player from Austin College to earn SCAC Player of the Week and the second ever to earn it in program's history. Cierra White became the first 'Roos tennis player to ever earn the award earlier this season.
