IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas men's lacrosse team has cancelled their 2014 season, due to not having enough student-athletes to field an adequately-sized roster.

Despite the recruiting efforts of second-year head coach Jeff Guy, the program will not yet compete in their fourth season on the lacrosse field.

The Crusaders are 8-29 in existence, as one of two teams in Texas participating at the NCAA Division III level.
