Three SCAC Schools Recognized as USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Texas Lutheran, Colorado College, and Trinity Women's Track & Field Programs received United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic awards for their excellence in competition and in the classroom during the 2013-14 season and academic year.
 
The threes schools were among the 158 women's teams in NCAA Division III to receive the All-Academic Track & Field Team award. All teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.10 or higher to receive the honor. 

Colroado College led the bunch with a 3.47 team GPA followed by Trinity with a 3.22. Maddie Murphy and Jessie Dean of Trinity earned all academic honors individually.

Finally, Texas Lutheran, the champions of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference who won their fifth consecutive conference crown this past spring, earned a 3.18 team GPA. Kristyna Landry was honored inidvidually for her efforts.
