Colorado College is 10th in Latest AVCA Division III Top 25 Poll

LEXINGTON, Ky.Colorado College moved up to No. 10 ranking in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III Top 25 poll for week three. Trinity University and Southwestern University both received votes for the Top 25 poll.

The CC Tigers set the program record for consecutive wins to open a season with victories over Austin College and the University of Dallas on Saturday. Not only did the Tigers extend their winning streak to 15 matches, it improved to 3-0 in league play and maintained a share of first place atop the league standings with Trinity University. CC also has won 45 of 49 sets in 2013.

The Tigers tied the record of 14 consecutive victories out of the gate set by the 1985 squad with a four-set triumph over Austin in Saturday's first match. Colorado College made it 15 victories in a row with a sweep of Dallas.

The CC Tigers return to Texas for four matches next Saturday and Sun­day at Southwestern University.
