LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Texas Lutheran freshman forward Maegan Idrogo and junior goalkeeper Devan Osegueda have been named Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Players-of-the-Week for week three of the SCAC Soccer season.

Idrogo was an offensive terror for the Bulldogs
and was a big reason for their two-game sweep of the weekend with a
4-0 win over Schreiner and a 5-3 win over Huston-Tillotson. In the
two games, Idrogo led the team with four goals and nine points. She
took six shots total with all of them being on goal.
In the SCAC opener against Schreiner, a 4-0 shutout for TLU, Idrogo came off the bench and tallied a goal and an assists on three shots. In Sunday's 5-3 shootout win over Huston-Tillotson, Idrogo notched her first hat trick, scoring three goals on three shots. Over the last three matches, Idrogo has scored five goals and tallied 11 points.
Other outstanding
performances in the SCAC:
Junior forward Nicole Johnson of Dallas scored three goals, took seven shots, four shots on goal, and one assist between two games. Freshman forward/midfielder Sarah Bevins of Southwestern took three shots, two on goal, and scored her first collegiate goal. Junior midfielder Emily Jorgens of Trinity netted a pair of goals and an assist in two wins over the week. Austin College, Centenary, and Schreiner did not nominate anyone for Offensive Player-of-the-Week.

Osegueda led the Tigers to a pair of shutout
victories at home over the weekend, allowing just 11 total shots in
the two games.
Osegueda recorded three total saves in more than 150 minutes of play over the weekend, which included her first solo shutout of the season on Friday. Against UT-Dallas, she made two crucial saves to keep the visitors off the scoreboard. Her first came in a scoreless tie early in the game, and her second was a spectacular diving effort that kept the Tiger lead at 1-0.
For the season, Osegueda has allowed three goals in her six games played, nearing 500 minutes in net for the Tigers. Friday was her first shutout of the season for the Tigers, and she has recorded 17 total saves.
Other outstanding
performances in the SCAC:
Senior defender Emily
Rogers of Dallas took four shots, one shot on goal, and one
goal for the week. Senior
midfielder/defender Lindsay Jakszta of Southwestern had a
big impact on the defensive and offensive end with scoring one goal
15 seconds into the Friday match. Freshman defender Krystel Wolfe of
Texas Lutheran helped the Bulldogs to a shutout in their
SCAC opener and chipped one goal and two shots. Austin College, Centenary, and Schreiner did not nominate
anyone for Defensive Player-of-the-Week.
