LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Sophomore Greg Nelson of Texas Lutheran University has earned SCAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his efforts this past weekend in a pair of huge wins over nationally ranked teams.

GREG NELSON OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a sophomore from Rockwall, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week for all matches through Sunday, March 23rd.
Nelson went 4-0 in singles play on the Bulldogs' Spring Break road trip and went 2-2 at No. 2 doubles.
Nelson won at No. 3 singles at Centenary, at No. 4 singles against LeTourneau and Austin College, and at No. 5 singles against East Texas Baptist. In the Bulldogs' tight 5-4 loss to LeTourneau, Nelson recorded a singles win in three sets - 6-7, 6-2, 1-0 (10-6).
