LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Schreiner University junior Zach Oliver has earned SCAC Men's Golfer of the Week after an outstanding effort earlier this week to give the Mountaineers a victory over top teams this past weekend.

ZACH OLIVER OF SCHREINER UNIVERSITY, a junior from Houston, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Week for all tournaments through Tuesday, March 25th.
Oliver led the 20th-ranked Schreiner men's golf team shot the lowest round - by 14 shots - and rallied from third place to the championship of the JDG/UT-Dallas Spring Classic on Tuesday at Firewheel Golf Park, knocking off three teams ranked in the Top 25.
Oliver finished second overall for the third straight tournament, shooting a 74-83-72 overall and trailed only UT-Tyler's Buddy Hallman who won the individual title.
Oliver's final round 72 was the best round of the day, by three shots, and allowed him to move from 11th after two rounds to runner-up of the tournament.
In three tournaments so far this spring, the Mountaineers have finished either first or second in each tournament, winning two out of the three they've competed in.
