LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Trinity University senior Greg Haugen has earned SCAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week after leading the Tigers to a third place finish as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Indoor National Championships.

GREG HAUGEN OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a senior from Austin, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week for all matches through Sunday, February 23rd.
Haugen led Trinity to a third-place finish at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Indoor Championships over the weekend, with the team's only loss coming to top seed Washington (MO) University.
Haugen was 2-1 in singles and 3-0 in doubles for the three matches, playing at line three singles and line two doubles all weekend. Haugen earned singles wins over California Lutheran and host Case Western, falling to fourth-ranked Washington University. He also scored three doubles victories over the same teams.
This season, Haugen is 7-3 at No. 3 singles, and 6-2 at No. 2 doubles, leading the eighth-ranked Trinity Tigers to an 8-3 overall record.
