KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Trinity (Tx) University (10-0-1, 5-0) kept the No. 4 spot in the National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA)/ Continental Tire Division III Top 25 women's poll, the No. 4 ranking in the D3Soccer.com Top 25 women's poll, and the No. 1 ranking for the NSCAA West Regional poll for week six.
Trinity (Tx) University recorded its seventh shutout in the last eight games on Friday afternoon, handing the University of Dallas a 3-0 defeat in SCAC play.
The Tigers will play twice this week, starting with a Tuesday night game against Southwestern University. Trinity scored a pair of shutout wins over the Pirates last season. Friday night will be a rematch against Dallas. The Tigers have recorded two straight shutouts against the Crusaders, including last year's 1-0 win in the SCAC Championship match.
