Trinity's Jorgens; Falcone Named NSCAA Women's Soccer All-Americans

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Trinity University junior midfielders Emily Jorgens and Kelsey Falcone were named National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-America, the organization announced today.

Jorgens was a first team selection and Falcone was a second team selection.

Jorgens, a NSCAA second team All-America honoree last year, has scored a school and SCAC-record 65 points this season, netting 18 goals and 29 assists in 26 games. She has also scored seven game-winning goals to lead the team. The 29 assists for Jorgens is also a new school record, and is just one away from tying the all-time single season record in Division III. Last month, she was named the league's Offensive Player-of-the-Year for the second consecutive season.

Falcone, a two-time NSCAA All-Region honoree, is Trinity's scoring leader this season with 21 goals - the 11th most for a SCAC single-season. She has also contributed 13 assists to give her 55 total points.

Trinity will take on Middlebury (VT) College at 1:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon in a NCAA National Semifinal match. The winner will play in the NCAA Division III Championship at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
