CADE KISER OF UNIVERSITY OF ST. THOMAS, a senior from Katy, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Golfer-of-the-Week for competition played through Tuesday, February 28. SCAC Golf Release (Spring - Week 2)
Kiser led all Celt golfers and finished tied for fifth place, up seven from Monday, firing a final round of 73 (+1) on Tuesday at the Division III Lidlifter, hosted by UT-Dallas at the Par 72, 6,727 yard Clubs of Kingwood Forest course in Kingwood, Texas. He finished the tournament with a two-day total of 148 (+4) with five birdies total, which tied for fourth among the 66 player field.
Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior Andrew Bennett of Centenary was the Gents' top finisher as he shot a 6-over par 150 to tie for ninth place at the Division III Lidlifter. Bennett shot an even-par 72 on Tuesday after a 6-over 78 on Monday. The junior now has three top 10-finishes in his career.
