NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - DePauw University won its fourth consecutive Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's tennis championship with a 7-2 win over Sewanee: University of the South in the championship match at Burns Park Tennis Center.
With the win, DePauw earns the SCAC's automatic bid to the 2011 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships. The Tigers also beat Sewanee in the 2010 SCAC championship match.
The 13-8 Tigers opened with a 9-0 win over Colorado College in the quarterfinals before defeating Sewanee, 7-2, in the semifinals.
