EVANSTON, Ill. - The College Swimming Coaches Association of America recently honored eight Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's & women's swimming & diving teams with All-Academic honors for the completed 2010-11 academic year.
To be selected, teams must have maintained a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale.
The SCAC was represented by both the men's and women's teams from Colorado College, Hendrix College and Sewanee: The University of the South. The Austin College women as well as the DePauw University women were also honored.
The Colorado College men's team posted the highest GPA (3.54) among the 57 total men's teams listed - the third time in the last five years that the CC men have achieved top honors among all Division III programs.
