SUWANEE, Ga. - Two Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference men's basketball student-athletes were named to the 2010-11 Capital One Academic All-District® men's basketball teams. Hendrix College junior Nick Heathscott and Colorado College senior Brady Ohlsen were both first-team selections.
Heathscott was named a District VI first-team selection. The junior carries a 3.95 grade point average (GPA) as a biochemistry/molecular biology major.
Ohlsen was a District VII first-team selection while maintaining a 3.72 GPA as a biochemistry major.
As first-team selections, both Heathschott and Ohlsen now advance to the national Capital One Academic All-America® Team ballot, where First, Second and Third Team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
