MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Colorado College senior guard Nick Rose was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for the first week of the 2010-11 season after he helped lead the Tigers to a season opening win over Division I Air Force.
Rose averaged 25.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals while leading Colorado College to a 1-1 record. He began the week by scoring a game-high 18 points and grabbing six rebounds during a 60-57 overtime victory at Division I Air Force. His steal inside the final nine seconds sealed the victory.
In a 90-74 loss to Lewis and Clark, Rose scored 33 points to become the 16th player in Colorado College history to eclipse the 1,000-point mark. Rose also had seven rebounds, two assists and two steals.
