Senior outfielder/first baseman Brent Lindsey joined exclusive company in the bottom of the seventh inning this afternoon as he collected his 200th career hit. Lindsey's 200th hit came in the form of a two out, game tying, RBI double to left center.

He is the 30th player in SCAC history and fifth in Rhodes history to reach this career milestone.

Lindsey collected 56 hits as a freshman in 2008, 50 as a sophomore in 2009, 58 in his junior year, and currently has 36 as a senior. He was a First Team All-SCAC selection in 2008 and 2010 and was an Honorable Mention selection in 2009.

Lindsey currently ranks fifth in school history in career hits behind Richard Hurd (244), Daniel Vanaman (241), J.R. Bizzell (233), and Mason Mosby (212). All five members of the Rhodes 200 hit club were teammates during the 2008 Rhodes baseball season and made up the first five in the Lynx batting order.
