Senior outfielder Mackenzie Cox of Centenary finished 3-for-7 at the plate in the Ladies' doubleheader sweep of Dallas at home over the weekend. She went 1-for-3 with an RBI, two runs scored, a walk, and two stolen bases in the 7-0 win in game one and finished 2-for-4 with a run and a stolen base in a 4-1 win in game two. Cox is riding a nine-game hitting streak ad has stolen at least one base in six-straight games as she continues to lead the nation in division III in stolen bases with 27. Junior outfielder Sydney Watson of Trinity let the Tigers to a 4-2 overall record last week, including back-to-back doubleheader sweeps at home against LeTourneau and La Roche. Watson batted .471 (8-for-17) for the week with two doubles, seven runs scored, and three RBI to account for more than one-third of Trinity's run production last week. After starting the week 0-for-5 in two early-week losses at UMHB, Watson batted .750 (8-for-12) in the final four games of the week, highlighted by a game one performance against La Roche. She went 3-for-3 with a double, scoring two runs, and driving in two more in the 9-1 win.
