Sophomore Kiran Singh and freshman Griffin Meyer led the way offensively for the Tigers each logging three points over the weekend on a goal and an assist apiece. Singh scored the lone goal in the win against the ‘Roos, assisted by Meyer, and then assisted on the opening goal in Sunday’s match against the Crusaders before Meyer scored the game-winner in the 31st minute. Sophomore Keleher Felton improved to 6-1 in goal for CC combining to make 15 saves, including 10 against Dallas, and posting one shutout.

Trinity (8-3-2, 4-1) has rattled off three-straight wins and seven of its last eight after picking up important road victories against Southwestern, 2-1, on Friday night and Texas Lutheran, 1-0, on Sunday. Texas Lutheran (10-5, 4-2) opened the weekend by defeating Schreiner (3-11-1, 1-4), 5-1, on Friday night at home. The win secured the Bulldogs’ second-straight season of 10 or more wins which is the first time the program has accomplished that feat in the SCAC era. The five goals are a season high for TLU who leads the SCAC with 36 goals on the season. Sophomore Luis Green and junior Jared Esparza each scored twice in the win.

St. Thomas (8-5, 4-1) secured its fourth-straight win last Friday, defeating Centenary (6-5, 2-3), 2-1, in the only match of the week for both teams. The Celts scored twice in the opening 30 minutes, both goals courtesy of Luis Bencomo, to seal the win. Bencomo now has three goals in his last three games with two game-winners.

Southwestern (9-4-2, 3-2-1) bounced back from its tough loss to Trinity on Friday to defeat Schreiner, 3-1, at home on Sunday. Savic’s goal was his first of the season, coming on senior day in Georgetown.

Taking a 1-0 lead into the half, the Crusaders fell behind, 2-1, before scoring twice in the final 16 minutes of the match, culminating with the game-winner from junior Brady McNamara in the 90th minute.
