LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- It was another light week in SCAC men's lacrosse play with Dallas, Colorado College, and JWU having the only three games on the schedule.
Colorado College (3-0) posted a 17-5 victory over Aurora (Ill.) in its home opener on Sunday. Coby Petau led the Tigers with three goals and added a pair of assists. Makay Hansen and Quinn Eaheart also finished with three goals each, with Jack Haims scoring twice.
Johnson & Wales (0-1) dropped its home opener to Aurora (29-1) on Sunday. Freshman Dylan Karl got the Wildcats on the board with an assist from Cole Hearn. James Hagedoorn and Jordan Livingston had three ground balls each while goalie Coleton Threlkeld made 18 saves.
Dallas (0-2) dropped its only game of the week to Hendrix College (21-0). Sam Dixon posted seven saves in one half in net while Austin Gibbons led the team with three shots, two of which were on goal.
SCAC men's lacrosse action continues this week with all five teams on the schedule.
