NORMAN, Okla. - The Division III PING All-America Teams were finalized this week and Southwestern's Cade Osgood and Trinity’s Daniel Nunez both received All-America recognition. Complete GCAA Release

Osgood earned First Team honors, while Nunez received a nod on the Third Team. This is Osgood's third consecutive All-America award and second First Team honor, having previously earned that distinction in 2017. He was named Second Team All-American last year. Earlier this month, both were selected for the organization's All-West Region Team.

Osgood set a new school record for greatest individual season scoring average with a 71.62 through 13 rounds, besting his own mark of 72.41 set last season in 29 rounds. In all, Osgood holds three of the top four spots on the list, putting together a scoring average of 73.20 in the 2017-18 season to finish fourth all-time, winning the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) individual championship and Golfer of the Year that season.

His national Golfstat ranking of sixth this season is the highest in school history, surpassing his No. 10 ranking last season.

The senior leaves Southwestern with the best scoring average in school history at 73.44 through 84 rounds, edging out last year's seniors Sutherland Stith and Matthew Christl by scoring par or better a school record 34 rounds with 253 birdies and eight eagles.

The Pirates won two SCAC Championships in the three years the conference held the event during Osgood's tenure. Southwestern finished this shortened season ranked No. 12 by the GCAA and Golfstat.

During the shortened 2019-20 campaign, Trinity's Nunez turned in superb performances. He started the season by winning the John Bohmann Memorial in Seguin, Texas, in September, the first individual victory for a Trinity golfer since October 2017. Nunez won the top slot for a second time at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Preview in March at Blanco, Texas.

The first-year paced the Tiger team with a fourth-place finish at the Schreiner Spring Shootout in March at Kerrville, Texas, the last event of the season. He led Trinity with a tie for fifth at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Intercollegiate in October at Temple, Texas.

Head Coach Sean Etheredge guided the Tigers to the team championship at their Alamo City Classic, held in October at San Antonio's The Quarry Golf Course. Nunez shot up in the standings, rising from a tie for 39th to a tie for 17th place.
