LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Six SCAC teams hit the links this past week, with five of those conference squads teeing it up at the Mary Hardin-Baylor Lady Crusader Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.

The 22nd-ranked Southwestern women won its third consecutive event, placing first overall at the Lady Crusader Fall Invitational. The Pirates led from start to finish, following up its event-leading 307 in the first round with an event-best 298 in the second. With a combined score of 605, the Pirates finished 29 over par and 30 strokes ahead of second-place Hardin-Simmons. Sophomore Madison Goldberg had the best round of the Invitational with a 70 on the second day for a combined score of 144, breaking even on par to finish first on the individual leaderboard. Senior Emily Campbell and first-year Sarah Lucido made moves up the leaderboard, each scoring a 74 in the second round to finish third and fourth. Campbell shot a combined 151 to finish seven over par, improving on her first-day 77 score to move up to third from sixth.
