LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -
Heading into the final regular season weekend of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer, Trinity, Centenary, Dallas and Southwestern have all clinched a berth into the conference tournament with seeding still very much in the air.

Trinity (12-3, 6-0) split matches last weekend on the road, defeating Johnson & Wales to open the weekend, 3-0, before falling to Cal Lutheran on Sunday, 3-1. Trinity is now just two SCAC wins away from posting its 11th-straight perfect season in league play. Against the Wildcats, sophomore Kaity Ward scored the game-winner in the 10th minute and added an assist on an insurance goal to finish with night with three points.

Centenary (14-1, 5-1) extended its winning streak to four after posting a 3-0 week last week. The Ladies opened the week by stepping out of conference play to defeat Louisiana College on Monday before a pair of SCAC road games over the weekend that included handing Dallas its first conference loss of the season, 3-2, on Friday and knocking off Austin College, 4-0, on Sunday. Senior Migui Boldrin finished the week with 10 total points on four goals and two assists, including finding the back of the next twice against the ‘Roos.

Dallas (9-5-1, 5-1) went 2-1 last week, defeating Southwestern Assemblies of God, 1-0, on Tuesday in non-conference action and then bounced by from its loss to Centenary to knock off St. Thomas (4-7-1, 1-4), 2-1, on Sunday. Southwestern (12-4, 4-2) defeated Texas Lutheran (7-7-1, 2-4), 2-0, on the road in the lone fixture for both teams last week. Freshman Alexis Guajardo scored her seventh goal of the year in the 14th minute that turned out to be the difference maker as the Pirates posted their second shutout in a row and eighth of the year.

Johnson & Wales (5-12, 3-5) has now won two of its last three matches after bouncing back from its loss to Trinity on Friday to defeat Schreiner (5-10-2, 1-5), 1-0, on Saturday in overtime. Sophomore midfielder Katherine Owings scored her second goal of the year in the 98th minute to give the Wildcats the victory.
