COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Colorado College attackers Eva King and Maggie O'Donnell earned national honors from Inside Lacrosse in recognition of their performance during the abbreviated 2020 season as well as their career accomplishments. Complete 2020 Maverik Women’s DIII All-American Team

King was named a third-team All-American, while O'Donnell was an honorable-mention selection.

During CC's five games, King led the team with 10 goals and was second with 17 points. She recorded season highs of four goals and five points in the 13-1 victory over Plymouth State University, which proved to be the final game of her career. King also set a career high with nine ground balls against the Panthers.

The Baltimore native finished her career ranked second in program history with 111 assists, fifth with 230 points and 12th with 119 goals.

"Eva has been exceptional for us through her play on the field and in guiding our offense and our younger players," head coach Susan Stuart said. "She makes the game look easy because of her impressive skill and fitness. Eva has a great eye for the game and is an amazingly unselfish player. Her calm presence and even demeanor as a leader will be missed in the future."

O'Donnell led the Tigers with 15 assists and 19 points, and was fifth with four goals. She dished out multiple assists in all five games, including five against No. 16 Ithaca College which matched her career high.

In less than two full seasons, O'Donnell already has climbed into a tie for 10th place in program history with 55 assists and became the 27th player to record 100 or more points with the second of her three assists against Plymouth State.

"It is great for Maggie to be recognized in this shortened and strange season," Stuart said. "She has an amazing ability to find her teammates and get the ball to them in traffic or under pressure. Maggie's stick skills are exceptional and I believe she will fill the shoes of Eva in reading our opponents' defense and leading our attack. I look forward to all that Maggie can accomplish over the next two seasons."
