KERRVILLE, Texas -- Third-seeded Texas Lutheran led from start to finish and defeated sixth-seeded Southwestern University, 81-63, in Friday's second quarterfinal game of the 2020 SCAC Men's Basketball Tournament. Caleb Lister had 17 of his game-high 19 points in the first half and finished with a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds to pace TLU. Jamir Mason narrowly missed a triple-double, posting 17 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.

- Texas Lutheran led 46-35 at the half and extended their lead to 21 with 9:12 remaining in the game.
- TLU shot 54.2 percent in the opening half (13-24) and finished at 52.1 percent (25-48) for the game. After shooting 45.5 percent in the first half (10-22), Southwestern was held to 28.0 percent in the second (7-25) and finished the game at 36.2 percent (17-47).
- Even though Texas Lutheran committed three more turnovers than Southwestern (15-12), the Bulldogs outscored the Pirates in points off turnovers, 19-8.
- Southwestern shot 39 free throws but converted on just 24 (61.5 percent). TLU was 19-26 from the charity stripe (73.1 percent).
- Texas Lutheran held a commanding 43 to 26 advantage on the boards.
