LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -
Week two of the Southern Collegiate Athletics Conference Women’s Soccer concluded over the weekend with Trinity and Dallas remaining the lone undefeated teams in league play and tied atop the table with nine total points.

Trinity (9-2-0, 3-0-0) has now won 112-straight SCAC contests dating back to 2008 after shutting out St. Thomas (4-5-1, 1-2-0), 3-0, on Friday and handing Centenary its first loss of the year, 4-0, on Sunday. Sophomore Camryn Beall notched the game-winner in both games, scoring less than 10 minutes into each contest and now leads the team with five goals on the year. The Tigers have now scored 24 goals in their last six fixtures and posted four-straight shutouts.

Dallas (6-4-1, 3-0-0) is off to its first ever 3-0 start in SCAC play after knocking off Austin College (2-9-1, 0-3-0), 2-0, last Friday in the only match of the week for both teams. Senior Olivia Severson made two saves as the Crusaders have now strung together three consecutive shutouts, the first such streak since Dallas blanked three-straight teams in 2016. Freshman Makayla Snow was credited with the game-winner after she scored her first career goal in the eighth minute and classmate Alyssa Mencacci added an insurance marker in the 71st minute, her sixth of the year.

Centenary (10-1-0, 2-1-0) extended its best start in program history last Friday, defeating Schreiner 4-1, to improve to a perfect 10-0, before seeing that streak snapped on Sunday to Trinity. Senior Migui Boldrin scored twice in the win over the Mountaineers to push her season total to a league best 11. The 10 wins mark the largest total for the Ladies since joining the SCAC back in 2012.

Southwestern (10-3-0, 2-1-0) won its second-straight fixture and currently sit tied for third on the table after defeating Johnson & Wales, 4-1, on Sunday in the Pirates lone match of the week. With the win, Southwestern has now produced back-to-back double-digit win seasons for the first time since 2008-09. Freshman forward Juliet Pridgen scored twice, including the game-winner, to move her season total to four goals and lift the Pirates to victory.

Schreiner (5-7-2, 1-2-0) bounced back from its opening weekend loss on Friday to secure its first SCAC win of the season, shutting out St. Thomas, 1-0, in overtime on Sunday. Senior Dani Loeblein provided the golden goal when she scored her eighth of the season in the 96th minute. Schreiner is now 5-2 in one goal games this year. The win marked the fourth shutout of the season for the Mountaineers who now have 22 total shutouts since the start of the 2016 season.

Johnson & Wales (3-10-0, 1-3-0) snapped its seven-game skid by earning its first SCAC win of the year last Friday, knocking off Texas Lutheran (6-5-1, 1-2-0), 1-0, in the lone game of the week for the Bulldogs. Sophomore Katherine Owings scored her first goal of the season in the 26th minute and senior Katelyn Peters made three saves en route to the victory.

League play continues this week with four matches scheduled on Friday and three on Sunday, highlighted by Trinity traveling to face Southwestern and Texas Lutheran.
