HOW IT HAPPENED
- Colorado College cruised through the first two sests, posting 25-14 and 25-15 victories. The Tigers held Southwestern to .059 and .000 hitting percentages, respectively, to jump out to the 2-0 lead.
- Southwestern bounced back with a strong third set, taking the 25-15 victory to cut the margin to 2-1. The Pirates hit .374 in the third set led by Lauren Crabtree who had six of her eight kills in the third set.
- Southwestern kept rolling in the fourth, jumping out to a 13-6 lead and then 18-14 before CC answered with three straight points and eight of the next 10 to take a 22-20 lead before clinching the set and match at 25-23.

NOTABLES
- This year's semifinal match was a rematch of last year's championship which Colorado College won 3-2.
- The two have met seven times in SCAC tournament play. After Southwestern won the first five matchups, Colorado College has won the last two.
- This will be Colorado College's third consecutive SCAC title match and seventh in program history. CC is 5-1 in its previous six championship appearances.
- A victory would make CC the first three-peat SCAC Tournament champion since the Tigers accomplished the feat in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
- Colorado College and Trinity have met in three previous finals (2011, 2012 and 2017) with CC taking the victory each time.
