LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -
Heading into the final regular season weekend of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer, Colorado College has secured a share of the SCAC regular season crown and the top seed for the tournament after collecting six crucial points last weekend at home.

Colorado College (12-5, 7-1) opened the weekend with a convincing, 6-0, win on Friday against Schreiner (3-13-1, 1-6). The win marked the most goals CC has scored in game since scoring eight in a contest back in 2015. Freshman Griffin Meyer and senior Sam Bermingham each scored twice in the win and sophomore Keleher Felton was credited with seven saves to post the team's sixth shutout of the year. On Sunday, the CC Tigers knocked off Trinity, 2-1, for the first win over the San Antonio Tigers since 2015. Trailing 1-0, junior John Schuler tied the game on a penalty kick in the 63rd minute and Meyer scored his third of the weekend when he found the back of the net for the game winner in the 78th minute.

Trinity (9-4-2, 5-2) split SCAC contests last weekend, earning a 5-1 win over Johnson & Wales on Friday. Junior Andrea Codispoti registered a hat trick in the win to bring his season goal total to eight. Trailing 1-0, Trinity scored five unanswered, including four in the second half to seal the victory.

Texas Lutheran (11-5, 5-2) defeated Southwestern (9-5-2, 3-3-1), 3-0, in the lone match of the week for both teams. Sophomore Luis Green scored twice in the second half to push his SCAC leading goal total to 13. Freshman Caleb Weed finished the game with five saves as the Bulldogs posted their sixth shutout of the season.

St. Thomas (9-5, 5-1) extended its wining streak to five after defeating Dallas (4-9-1, 2-4-1), 3-0, on Sunday. It was the third shutout in the last four fixtures for the Celts. Senior Carlos Marquez scored the game winner, his third of the season and fifth goal overall.

Centenary (8-6, 3-4) was busy last week, posting a 2-1 record that included stepping outside of SCAC play to defeat Louisiana College, 6-3, last Monday. Sophomore Wil Escobar delivered with a hat trick in the win. The Gents then split a pair of conference road matches over the weekend, earning a win at Dallas, 2-1, on Friday night. Escobar tied the game in the 83rd minute as Centenary scored twice in the final eight minutes for the win.

Johnson & Wales (3-13-1, 2-6) has now won two of its last three contests after defeating Schreiner, 2-0, last Saturday. Sophomore AJ Waters and freshman Josh Guzman each scored in the second half for the win. Junior goalkeeper Zac Collins collected six saves in the shutout effort.

Austin College (4-10-1, 1-5) earned its first SCAC win of the year, defeating Centenary, 1-0, in double overtime last Sunday. It marked the fourth-straight one goal game for the 'Roos. Senior Jean Marie Luundo scored the golden goal in the 105th minute and Juan Rodriguez made eight saves to keep a clean sheet.

The regular season concludes this week as all ten teams are in action with every point becoming critical to seeding as the 2019 SCAC Tournament is set to begin on November 8th. The complete tournament bracket will be available following the conclusion of Sunday's matches.
