Valenzuela
 averaged 2.82 kills per set as a middle blocker (31 kills) and had her best performance against a 7-0 Puget Sound team, tallying 14 kills for the match. Her kill percentage was the best against the Pirates' top two opponents of the week (Aurora and Puget Sound), never dropping below .368 for those two matches, and she finished the week with a .354 attack percentage. The Pirates posted a 3-0 week and Valenzuela was selected to the Southwestern Invitational All Tournament Team for her performance. 

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Senior middle blocker/right side Brette Thornton of Trinity had one of the best weekends of her career for the No. 6 Tigers, which competed at the East-West Battle in California over the weekend. Thornton began the weekend with 17 kills and 10 blocks for her first career double-double as a MB, while also hitting .429 in the 3-2 win over Cal Lutheran. She finished with 36 total kills and hit .357 for the three matches. Against nationally-ranked Tufts, she had 10 kills and five blocks, then added nine kills and five more blocks against #2 Claremont. Senior middle blocker Keriann Kallus of Texas Lutheran averaged 2.50 kills per set, posting double digit kills in each match, as the Bulldogs posted a 2-1 mark for the week. She hit an impressive .414 with 30 kills and just six errors in 58 total attacks. The senior also added three service aces. Senior outside hitter Isabella Lipacis of Colorado College recorded her 1,000 career kill last weekend, becoming just the 12th placer in CC volleyball history to reach that mark. She averaged 3.15 kills per set and hit .228 en route to earning all-tournament honors at the prestigious East-West Challenge. First-year outside hitter Giana Hilliard of Schreiner led the Mountaineers to a 3-1 record this week, including a 2-1 trip to Oregon. The first-year ended the week with 47 kills through four matches (3.13 per set) while hitting .282. She currently leads the team with 88 kills. Sophomore outside hitter Audrey Cataline of St. Thomas posted 60 kills (3.16 per set) and 68 total points on the weekend, highlighted by a 15-kill performance against Millsaps where the sophomore hit .214 on 42 swings. Senior outside hitter Victoria Smith of Austin College earned All-Tournament recognition for her performance at the Rhodes College Classic over the weekend, as the 'Roos went 3-1 to improve to 7-1 on the year. Smith averaged 2.69 kills-per-set, reaching double-digits in three matches with 14 kills against UMHB, 12 against Rhodes, and 15 against Lyon. The senior had only eight attacking errors in 103 attempts, compared to 43 kills in 16 sets played. Sophomore setter Ava Alvarado of Dallas was selected to the All-Tournament Team for her performance in the ETBU Invitational this past weekend. She racked up 125 assists across four matches, averaging 8.33 assists per set, and currently leads the conference with 9.66 assists per set.
