Trinity falls to ninth in NSCAA/Continental Tire Top 25 women's poll

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Trinity University fell seven spots to ninth in the sixth regular season National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Division III top 25  women's poll.

The Tigers battled to a 1-1 draw with then 16th-ranked Wheaton (Ill.) before losing to Loras, 3-2 in double overtime. Trinity is now 7-1-2 in its last 10 matches and has allowed just seven goals in its 11 games (0.64 goals allowed per game).

Trinity fell to 8-1-2 but remains 4-0 in SCAC play. The Tigers return to action on Oct. 12 and 14 when they host Austin College and Centenary, respectively.

Trinity fell five spots to No. 7 in this week's D3soccer.com top 25 poll.
