IRVING, Texas -
The University of Dallas Athletics Department is pleased to announce the hiring of Angelina Pane as the eighth women's soccer head coach in program history.

Pane (pictured below) spent the previous two seasons as a graduate assistant for the Ottawa University (Kan.) women's soccer team.

The Lady Braves amassed a 13-6 record in 2012, including a 7-2 mark in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC).

In Pane's tenure with Ottawa, the women's soccer team compiled a 23-14-3 record and produced 14 KCAC All-Conference selections, including a Co-Defensive Player-of-the-Year.

Ottawa netted a 10-8-3 clip in 2011 and returned to the National Athletic Intercollegiate Association (NAIA) postseason tournament for the second time in school history.

Pane's primary duties were in recruiting, organizing conditioning/weight sessions, providing nutritional information, evaluating student-athletes at both the team and individual levels, scouting opponents, editing game film and assisting with schedule creation.

From 2011-2012, she also aided the Kansas State Olympic Development Program (ODP) as a staff coach.

Pane served as a graduate assistant for Converse College (Spartanburg, S.C.) during the fall 2010 semester, and held the role of strength and conditioning volunteer assistant coach at the University of Wisconson-Milwaukee from 2008-2010.

In 2009, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Concordia University (Mequon, Wis.). Named team captain in her senior campaign, Pane was a four-year letterwinner (2005-2008) for the Lady Falcons.

Pane is expected to graduate with a Master of Arts in Education from Ottawa University in May 2013, and is certfied by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
