MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - In the third American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Collegiate Baseball NCAA Division III poll of the 2013 regular season, Trinity University fell six spots to eighth while Centenary College jumped to 26th.
Trinity, which now stands at 24-7 overall and 9-5 in the SCAC has won 18 of its last 23 games, is in second place in the conference standings after going 1-2 last week. The Tigers finished the month of March with a 15-5 record.
Centenary (21-7 overall, 13-3 SCAC) went 3-0 last week, including winning two games against then No. 2 Trinity to extend the Gents' winning streak to five games. Centenary went 13-5 during March.
