Colorado College 22nd; Southwestern 23rd in AVCA national rankings

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Colorado College fell five spots to 22nd while Southwestern University jumped two spots to 23rd in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) top 25 rankings this week.

The Tigers, who last week were ranked 17th in the AVCA rankings, went 2-2 during the  week of Sept 24-30. Colorado College's is now 12-6 overall and 2-1 in SCAC play on the season.

Southwestern beat Howard Payne, 3-0, in its only game of the week. The Pirates now stand at 12-4 overall and 3-0 in league play on the season. Southwestern was ranked 25th in last week's rankings.
