Campbell recorded a mark of 13.23 meters in the shot put, and hurled 44.84 meters in the hammer throw.

He qualified for the discus event at the NCAA Division III Championships in May at La Crosse, Wisconsin, and placed 13th of 20 competitors with a throw of 49.14 meters. Campbell was an All-American in the discus in 2009.

A multi-sport student-athlete, Murphy has competed in the NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championships for three consecutive years. Murphy won the SCAC Cross Country Championship in 2011. During the 2012 SCAC Track and Field Championships, Murphy emerged as the champion of the 10,000 meters run. Murphy was runner-up in the 10,000 meters at the 2013 meet, and placed third in the 5,000 meters.

The Tiger men's and women's teams won the 2013 SCAC Track and Field Championships in record-setting fashion. Trinity coaches, led by Head Coach Marcus Whitehead, earned honors as the SCAC Staff of the Year for both the men's and women's teams.

Trinity's cross country teams, led by Head Coach Derick Lawrence and Assistant Coach Emily Daum, won the 2012 SCAC Cross Country Championships. The Tiger women captured the NCAA South/Southeast Regional for the third time, and the men placed second. Both squads qualified for the NCAA Championships. Coach Lawrence was elected the South/Southeast Regional Women's Coach of the Year. He also was named the SCAC Men's and Women's Coach of the Year.
